Yaounde: Plane crash disaster narrowly avoided at the Nsimalen International airport
A plane crash was narrowly avoided on Friday evening at the Nsimalen international airport in Yaounde. The Boeing 767 dubbed the “Dja” an aircraft of the national airline (Camair-Co), almost crashed around 7:15 p.m. (local time) during take-off.
Our chief intelligence officer in Yaounde reported that the plane was about to leave the tarmac of the Nsimalen international airport around 19h 15, when flames were seen at the reactors. The flames were quickly put off thanks to the intervention of the fire brigade.
Cameroon Intelligence Report is yet to confirm the number of passengers on board the plane. It is vital to include in this report that in an editorial “Cameroon Airlines-Camair-co: From Boom to Bust, our editor-in-chief, Soter Tarh Agbaw-Ebai sounded a note of caution that no Cameroonian should board the “Dja”. http://www.cameroonintelligencereport.com/cameroon-airlines-camair-co-from-boom-to-bust.
Camair-Co has not yet responded to the new incident. Note that the “Dja” went through a technical maintenance in Ethiopia.
