French Cameroun President Paul BIYA has held talks with outgoing French ambassador Gilles Thibault for the last time in Yaoundé. Both men met yesterday the 26 July 2019 at the so-called Unity Palace.

As usual, the French surrogate and France’s chief diplomat revisited the “fruitful” ties between Yaounde and Paris.

State media reported that the discussions lasted for three hours thirty minutes and centered on security, culture, trade and investment.

Ambassador Gilles Thibault said he is leaving Cameroon with a luggage filled with beautiful memories.
