Yaounde-Douala Highway Crisis: CPDM regime repairs bridge using a container
Technicians in Cameroon have used a container to repair the bridge that collapsed on the Douala-Yaounde highway. Our chief correspondent in Yaounde who filed in this report observed that nothing can best represent the end of a regime than the fact that a metal box designed to transport goods is now being used by road engineers in the construction of a bridge.
Some officials of the Ministry of Public Works were heard murmuring privately that for a country that has Mafany Musonge, Eta Jerome and Omer Sendze to be building bridges with containers is shameful. A spokesman for the ruling CPDM crime syndicate indicated that it was a temporary repair.
