While the International Criminal Court looks the other way
The ongoing genocide against Black Africans in Libya in the hands of criminal gangs to whom NATO handed over power and in the Mediterranean sea where NATO iCC European State Parties by commission or omission are responsible for the death of hundreds of thousands of Black African migrants must forcefully elicit the question: Do black lives matter to the ICC? Apologists of the ICC exclusive focus or selective focus on Africa and on crimes alleged against Black Africans may answer this question in the affirmative. For those who see the hand of the same perpetrators of the ongoing genocide in the Mediterranean and Libya against Black Africans, in most crimes for which Africans are selectively targeted, Black lives seem not to matter to the ICC. Lest we forget, alleged Black African perpetrators targeted by the ICC do not manufacture the weapons with which crimes are perpetrated. NATO countries and their allies do. And these crimes are supplied to facilitate crimes benefiting the imperial interests of these imperial countries.
The ongoing genocide of Black Africans by NATO sponsored criminal gangs in Libya and the Mediterranean crime syndicate explain the purpose, nature and effects of European imperial criminality against Black Africa. The aerial bombardment of Libya targeting civilians and civilian targets and the enthronement of criminal gangs as leaders by proxy of the destroyed country were intended to safeguard the imperial economic interests and domination of that country and by extension the continent of Africa., stifling the Pan-African Agenda espoused by OUA Pan-African founding fathers, Osagefo Dr Kwame Nkrumah, Mwalimu Kambarage Julius Nyerere, Milton Obote, whose execution, Moamar Ghaddafi was bent on formalizing. The migration floodgate by millions of young black Africans who are victims of the despoliation of the economy of the troubled continent are a consequence of the
NATO -EU imperial policies, in particular, the policies of the overseers of France-Afrique who superintended the execution of the bombardment. The proliferation of weapons arising from the NATO campaign in the African Sahel and beyond, empowered terrorist bands like Boko Haram and minerals- for- weapons merchants in the mineral and natural resources fields in Africa forcing millions of African youths to embark on suicidal migration ventures across the Sahara in the hope of performing their slave chores and attaining sustenance at their European base. After, all, they must have surmised, that the slave trade in part, took a familiar destination for the same purpose centuries gone by and is continuing under different appellations selectively legitimized by international law and international economic practice. The prevailing existence of France-Afrique colonial economic and military treaties attest to this fact. The commanding role of Nicolas Sarkozy in the bombardment of Libya and the spurious reasons he provided for this brazen act of impunity again attests to this fact. The intervention by the ICC through a referral by the UN Security Council in the bombardment of Libya supposedly to support its Responsibility to Protect Mandate in a NATO driven military operation evinced an intention by the Western imperial powers to use the ICC to provide legitimacy and legal cover to crimes of aggression, crimes against humanity, war crimes, egregious violations of international law and a violation of the UN Charter.
This intervention was also aimed at legitimizing the authority of the criminal gangs responsible for enslaving and selling off Africans as chattel and slaves on the watch of the ICC, the UNSC and NATO member states. The fact is that Libya is a failed state and does not have a functional government. Libya today begs for recolonization, in particular of its fields. This was the covert purpose of the Libya NATO aerial campaign. If not why then ignore the human calamity of the attack and the genocide of Black Africans caused by their military campaign?
The erstwhile President of The Gambia His Excellency President Jameh pulled The Gambia out of the ICC because his invitation to the ICC to investigate the massacre of African migrants in the Mediterranean and the Sahara desert was ignored by the ICC whose attention turned instead towards the mineral rich Burundi where the EU sponsored stooges and criminal gangs through armed criminal means unsuccessfully attempted to overthrow the legitimate democratically elected government by violent means leading to destruction of lives and property. The UNSC, the AU and East African Community were already seized on the Burundian Affair and deployed efforts aimed at resolving it when the ICC intervened, jeopardizing these efforts.
Meanwhile the situation in Libya where the Prosecutor of the ICC remains seized of due to the UNSC referral, is completely ignored and hundreds of thousands of black Africans continue to perish in the Mediterranean Sea and thousands of others continue to be sold as slaves to criminal human merchants on the watch of the ICC. The ICC had ruled in the past that Libya had a functional legal system to try the former intelligence chief of Libya yet the black African nations of Kenya and Burundi did not. This decision seemly emboldened the criminal gangs in Libya and the result is here for the world to see but helpless to do anything. Black Africa again is on its own beginning for a need to urgently unite and support continental institutions to promptly deal with these threats. Again, considering the silence and obvious inaction of the ICC in this situation, I again ask the question: Do black lives matter to the ICC? What indeed is the relevance of the ICC to Africa and Black people? Could the widely held opinion that it is an imperial court with a mandate to legitimize the recolonization of Africa be true? If not, what then is the explanation for the reluctance and/or inability of the ICC to investigate the NATO ICC State parties bombardment of Libya and the assassination of Moamar Ghadaffi and millions of Libyan civilians?
What is the explanation for not investigating the widespread and systematic crimes and genocide of Black Africans by criminal gang allied to NATO? What is the justification for not investigating the crimes of slavery, slave trading of Black Africans and the genocide of Black Africans in the Mediterranean Sea; the conscription, training and arming of criminal gangs to perpetrate crimes in the continent of African, in particular the mining fields; the support and arming of puppet neo-colonial regimes in imperial vassal states, in particular the France-Afrique vassal states?. If the ICC must justify its selective focus on Africa, it must demonstrate that supposed African crimes are not perpetrated solely by black Africans. They are perpetrated by powerful imperial regimes, international economic cartels, pirates, multinational economic concerns, international NGOs, Special Interests and some civil society surrogates with impunity. When and if the ICC admit the fact that black Africans do not manufacture weapons with which these crimes are perpetrated but the beneficiaries of the outcome of the crimes who may not be Africans after all, then the ICC will be seen as representing the face of humanity that it was intended to be. One method of doing so is to commence investigations in the situation in Libya where it remains seized by a UNSC referral without delay and the Mediterranean and grab these criminals humiliating and debasing the black African humanity on its watch.
