Villarreal star Zambo Anguissa has over £85,000 worth of jewellery stolen by thieves
Spanish newspaper el Periodico Mediterraneo reports that Zambo Anguissa’s luxury coastal villa in the town of Grau was burgled last weekend.
Thieves are said to have climbed in through the balcony of his home near the beach.
Many suspect this episode bears similar hallmarks of other raids of footballers’ homes in recent months.
Jewellery, watches and cash are often the priority for thieves who target players during games, Zambo Anguissa on international duty with Cameroon on this occasion.
The midfielder, 23, joined Villarreal from Fulham on loan in the summer. Club and country colleague Karl Toko Ekambi had a luxury car stolen from his house during Villarreal’s game with Leganes in April.
And players of nearby east coast club Valencia have also been targeted.
