US: Mola Njoh Litumbe honoured as an Ambassador of Conscience
Mola Njoh Litumbe was declared an Ambassador of Conscience by senior leaders of Morisc, SCNC and SCACUF at an award ceremony inspired by the Southern Cameroons revolution in the USA. The elderly Southern Cameroons statesman has successfully led West Cameroonians into democracy and has continued to campaign on issues such as the marginalisation of Southern Cameroons and the urgent need for an independent Southern Cameroons nation.
The event was to mark Mola’s birthday and Cameroon Intelligence Report gathered the Right Honourable Mola Njoh Litumbe has expressed his delight at receiving the award. Mola Njoh Litumbe is the first senior Southern Cameroons leader to be presented with the award since the Southern Cameroons struggle started some 11 months ago. Informing Southern Cameroonians of the prestigious award, Sesekou Christmas Ebini who also moonlights as a “Shey” in the Bamenda County posted this statement on his Face Book page
“We have just honored a great Southern Cameroonian, a decent human being and a man who has dedicated his life, time and resources in fighting for justice and seeking the good in the human soul. Celebrating a man like Mola Njoh Litumbe gives us a great window and opportunity to learn and to tap into the inner souls of our own capabilities and that which is good in us. Even the setup of this very important event and the delivery of everything were carefully and strategically put together to send a very important message and lesson to all of us. There are those who spend a lot of time focusing and publishing that which they think is wrong with us, each other or organisations they do not agree with. They spend time concentrating on their dislikes of individuals, dismissing any good such individuals may bring to the common benefit of this revolution. They spend time and energy creating division, setting roadblocks and spreading toxic energy amongst us. It is time we show these folks and the naysayers in our midst that they are wrong. It is time we render them irrelevant and inconsequential in this struggle. This is serious business with not time to waste on people who want to play. Not time to misuse our energy and focus on foolishness.
Although i, Christmas Ebini, conceived the idea for the Mola awards dinner, be it known that it was carefully planned and executed jointly by Morisc, SCNC and SCACUF. Yes all of these groups, whom some would want to see tearing each other down, worked together and the outcome was a successful event for a great Southern Cameroonian elderly statesman with people making sacrifices to attend from as far as Canada. Yes the chairman of the occasion was the spokesperson of Morisc. The cutting of the cake was jointly taken care of by the chairperson of SCACUF and the secretary general of morisc. The arrangement of flowers was by the treaurer of morisc. The officiating of the award was by the chairman of SCNC. The MCs, the media folks were all morisc and SCACUF. All of these leaders of different groups in our struggle sat together and all you could see was a group of people on the same path towards the same destination. All you could feel is the resolve of a people who are bent on getting the same thing they all want. All you could identify from the chemistry amongst them is the realization that they all have a common destiny to which they are bonded to work together to protect. This is the spirit much needed for us to be successful along the rocky road of our long and dangerous journey. This struggle is not the place for empty grandstanding and wasteful distractions. This is not a struggle for cheap popularity and instant gratifications. We are not going to allow nor accept casualties from friendly fires. Point your guns towards the enemy and not towards your fellow travelers en route to Buea.
Differences we will and must always have as long as we are mortal human beings. However we should never allow, tolerate, encourage or enable those who pretend to be soldiers, and i mean true soldiers, of this revolution to see our differences and disagreements as openings for them to direct their guns towards other compatriots with the outcome of prolonging the time for us to get to our destination. Differences and disagreements are not similar to recklessness and irresponsibility. Differences and disagreements are not down payments for intolerance and baseless tantraums. We still have our brothers in captivity. Not time to play. We still have to get our independence so we can give our children the right education they deserve. No time here for playing. We have sacrificed and continue to sacrifice much more in blood, treasure, dignity and freedom, so not time for foolish plays.
Special thanks to the leaders.of all these groups who made the event successful. Special thanks to all of you our southern Cameroons comrades for you very patriotic and responsible presence, especial Godfrida and her team all the way from Canada. Our thanks to Shufai Mbinglo and others who came from far away states. Thanks to Ntumfor Martin Tamukong my ever ready and willing young brother who worked for us to secure 5 Sisters Restaurant for the event. Our heartfelt appreciation to the 5 Sisters Restaurant management and staff for hosting us so well. Thank you Justice Ebong for your graceful presence and for giving Mola all the support he needed. Mola thank you a million times. On your spirit thisrevolution will gather more momentum and strength and we assure you that you sacrifices and dedication would not go to waste. Thank you and happy birthday and congratulations.”
