Uganda National Assembly Speaker in Yaounde for talks
The speaker of the Ugandan National Assembly, the Rt Honorable Rebecca Alitwala Kadaga is in the nation’s capital Yaounde. The special envoy of the Ugandan dictator, President Yoweri Museveni is in Cameroon to solicit support for her country’s candidate, Specioza Wandira Kazibwe who is vying for the post of African Union Commission Chair.
Hon. Alitwala Rebecca has held diplomatic talks with the Prime Minister and Head of Government, Philemon Yang. Specioza Wandira Kazibwe, the former Vice President of the Museveni gang governing Uganda is contesting with two other candidates from Bostwana and Equatorial Guinea.
He is also one of the key leaders of peace and UN Special Envoy for HIV/AIDS in Africa. Hon. Kadaga Alitwala was accompanied to Yaounde by Hon Monjowa Lifaka Vice President of the National Assembly.
