Top military officials at CRTV
A delegation of senior military personnel taking part in training at the International War College in Yaounde has paid a friendly visit to the national television house. The media plays an indispensable role in military strategy and warfare especially in the era of asymmetric conflicts.
At a time when the link between the army and the nation is being reinforced, the 12th batch of the Yaoundé war college were at the CRTV to abreast themselves with the functioning of the state media. The visit marks the end of 11 months of training for the 62 candidates from the American, European and African continents.
The officers lived the experience of live broadcast on CRTV during a guided tour. The Managing Editor for News, Jean Atangana received the delegation in the newsroom in the presence of other editors. He edified the officers on a wide range of issues including editorial policy, deployment of reporters and collaboration between the army and the nation.
