Southern Cameroons Crisis: SDF Senator says Biya is the problem
SDF Senator Etienne Sonkin has said that the crisis in Southern Cameroons has worsens because of the President of the Republic Paul Biya. Etienne Sonkin made the declaration recently while he was guest on the Big Sunday program hosted by Canal 2 International L’Arena.
The Senator who also moonlights as the national treasurer of the Social Democratic Front observed that “We sang Paul Biya’s name in the National Assembly because it is Biya who created the situation, it is Paul Biya who must solve the problem. I take this opportunity to say that it is Paul Biya the problem! Why? Because in other countries, I do not need to mention the neighboring countries, where you know that for a simple strike in a high school the president in person meets the students to discuss with them, to call them, to reassure them “. With us the president does not even speak of secessionists he orders to shoot if we move, “noted the SDF politician.
The Yaoundé regime recently labeled him the SDF spokesman for English-speaking secessionists but the Senator however told Canal 2 that the SDF had clearly expressed its position on several occasions through resolutions of the National Executive Committee.
Etienne Sonkin condemned the Biya Francophone government imbalance in the distribution of posts in the country. “In a country like Cameroon, the president of the Republic is francophone, the secretary general at the presidency is francophone, the director of the civil cabinet is francophone the ministers are francophone, the general delegate for national security is francophone, the President of the Senate, the two first Vice-Presidents and the Secretary General are French-speaking. Same in the National Assembly. The senator said he can provide multiply examples of this kind in Cameroon

If the killing of Bishop Balla had not occurred would he have raised his voice? He could have refused the mission to Southern Cameroon but he foolishly went. The grapes are soured
