Southern Cameroons Crisis: Biya summons Higher Judicial Council
The 84 year old dictator has convened for the first time ever since the Southern Cameroon uprising an emergency session of the Supreme Council of the Magistracy. Biya signed several decrees on Friday May 12, 2017, among them one that summoned members of the Higher Judicial Council on June 7, 2017 in Yaoundé.
Items on the menu were not disclosed but a well-placed source hinted that the Head of State wants the Higher Council of the Judiciary to decide on the assignments of magistrates to the Anglophone regions. The meeting is also expected to examine the promotion of certain judges, dish-out sanctions on possible cases of indiscipline and the integration of pupils’ auditors of justice.
The meeting of June 7, 2017 is scheduled in a particular context, marked by the arrest of Lord Justice Ayah Paul Abine and a massive strike action orchestrated by Common Law Lawyers currently going on in Southern Cameroon.

What has this got to do with Southern Cameroon (Ambasonia)? My brothers are being flogged and humiliated every day in his LRC dungeons for simply asking for justice. The truth will set us free come what may. We are tired of this sadist.
