A Government Bilingual and Presbyterian school in the Jakiri and Kumbo  counties were set on fire on Thursday 26 October 2017.

According to a report aired by Canal 2 International, it was some parents of students who arrived Thursday morning  accompanying their offspring who helped in putting off the fire.

The French Cameroun administrative officers operating in the Bui State have reportedly opened an investigation.
