National Assembly Politics: Mbah Ndam attacks Biya, says constitutional amendment lacks substance
The Vice Speaker of the National Assembly, Hon. Joseph Mbah Ndam has described the purported and widely animated constitutional amendment instigated by the Head of state as falsehood and lack of substance. He says it is a replica of the CPDM noise, highly hypocritical and nonsensical, Mbah Ndam blasted.
The MP from the Batibo constituency observed that President Biya has no right and legal backing to cut short his mandate and amend the constitution. The SDF Member of Parliament revealed that the CPDM gang has plans to introduce the post of vice president and also make matters better for the head of state to call for anticipated presidential elections in the country.
Hon. Mbah Ndam hinted that a group of disgruntled highly placed CPDM officials had call the SDF Chairman Ni John Fru Ndi when rumor of the alleged constitutional amendment made rounds last week.
