Maroua: 2 suicide bombers killed in Mora
Two suicide bombers were killed on Monday morning following explosion of the devices they were carrying towards the Technical High School in Mora, in the department of Mayo-Sava, Far-North region.
Cameroon security sources confirmed the incident and added that the two girls of about 13 and 14 years, died in two explosions yesterday at the entrance to the town of Mora, precisely behind the technical high school.
According to our sources, the two explosions did not caused further casualties among the population. Suicide bombings have multiplied in the Far-North region for several months. They are attributed to Boko Haram.
In 2016, more than 40 suicide attacks were attributed to Boko Haram who allegedly pledged allegiance to the Organization of the Islamic State and is now called the Islamic province of West Africa.
