Ivorian cyclist wins first lap of Chantal Biya Tour
An Ivorian cyclist, Cisse Issiaka has won the first lap of the 16th edition of the Chantal Biya Intenational Cycling tour from Yaounde- Bafia. The winner covered a distance of 122km in 2 hours 52 minutes and 7 seconds
He was closely followed in the second position by a Swiss born, Bussard Dimittri who covered the distance in 2 hours 52 minutes and 12 seconds. Nathanael Gery of France crossed the finish line third, on a time scale of 2 hours 52 minutes and 30 seconds.
At the fourth position was French born Guglielmi Simon who arrived in 2 hours 53 minutes 30 seconds. The First Cameroonian, Mbah Herve Raoul from the SNH Velo Club came fifth on a time scale of 2 hours 53 minutes 39 seconds. Three other laps are still to be covered, they are as follows
– Yaoundé – Ebolowa (155km)
– Zoe Etele – Meyomesala (143km)
– Sangmelima – Yaounde (148km)
The 16th edition of the Chantal Biya International Cycling Tour will end 16th October 2016.
