IRIC: 833 candidates in need of 175 seats
A conference to deliberate on the marking scheme for the competitive entrance exam into the International relations Institute of Cameroon, IRIC is ongoing in the school campus in Yaounde. The conference has been organized at the end of written part of the 2016-2017 competitive entrance examination into IRIC after three days of writing.
Some 833 candidates sat for the entrance examination organized at the campus of the institution at the Obili neighbourhood in Yaoundé. Five disciplines: international communication and public action, international Banking Money and Finance, regional integration and management of community institution, international marketing and international dispute are available for the new academic year.
The Director of IRIC, Pierre Emmanuel Tabi recently revealed that 35 students shall be admitted in each discipline and a total of 175 candidates will be regular students. At the end of the exercise some candidates expressed optimism on the outcome of the exams claiming that the courses were affordable while others were less hopeful arguing that the limited places shall render admission difficult. According to the official programme, the final deliberations for admissions will take place on the 7th of October 2016.
