Indomitable Lions: Head Coach Hugo Broos says the team is ready to clash with Zambia
Cameroon is hosting Mighty Zambia today Saturday the 12th of November 2016 in Limbe as part of the second day of the 2018 World Cup qualifiers. Head coach Hugo Broos has revealed that the team is ready for the clash. “We must not make the game start too soft,” he thinks. “We know the adversary almost by heart. We have watched almost four of their games. We know their good players, their qualities and their weaknesses. We have everything,” Broos said on Friday in a press conference.
The Belgian technician observed that the team has to focus on the concentration aspect of the match from the very beginning: “I have tried to put the players in the best conditions. I told them to be wary of this opponent, not to lose concentration on the ground. I told them that we must show some collective action and that everyone must play at his highest level.”
The new captain, Benjamin Moukandjo, was quoted as saying “It’s a big game, If we have to put meaning to the point we collected in Algeria, we must win.” Nigeria currently leads Group B with 3 points while Algeria and Cameroon occupy the 3rd and 4th positions respectively with a point. Zambia is bottom of the table with no points recorded so far.
