Hon. Richard Wallang’s health: A CPDM volcano about to erupt
There are reports that the injury sustained by Honorable Richard Wallang has gone from bad to worse and the MP has gotten a surgical operation. Honorable Richard Wallang was wounded during a protest demonstration on December the 8th in the National Assembly by the Honorable Patricia Ndam Njoya during the 3rd ordinary session of the 2017 parliamentary year.
It has been revealed that Hon. Wallang Richard developed acute pain in his right arm and was rushed to the Emergency Department at the Yaoundé Central Hospital accompanied by Hon Kwei Andrew and Hon Salomon Douvogo.
Cameroon Intelligence Report gathered that the swollen arm was operated by a surgeon who was summoned urgently for the surgery. The doctor demanded that Hon Wallang remain in the hospital for at least 10 days for dressing and observation.
Tongues have been wagging on how an MP hit by a projectile in the head now finds himself with an operated arm? “I’m not a doctor, sir. You saw on TV the MP bleeding but the consequences can spread to another part of his body” noted the medical practitioner who performed the surgery.
Cat calls have greeted the Patricia Ndam Njoya action and pressure is mounting as some CPDM MPs are demanding the lifting of her parliamentary immunity for court action to begin. The CDU parliamentarian had apologized to her colleague.
