French man Romain Martial wins Chantal Biya International Cycling Tour
French man, Romain Martial has won the 2016 edition of the Chantal Biya International Cycling Tour. The fourth and final stage of the tour was staged on Sunday between Sangmélima in the South region and Yaoundé in the Centre.
The race recorded some dramatic U-turns at the beginning when Ivorian, Issiaka Cissé won the first stage between Bafia and Yaoundé covering some 122,7km and gotten the yellow jersey on October 13, 2016.
Issiaka Cissé lost his yellow jersey after the second stage Yaounde – Ebolowa on October the 14th to Swiss cyclist, Descartes Bussard Dimitri. The Moroccan, Soufiane Sahbaoui emerged winner of the third stage after riding through a distance of 131 km. The final stage was won by the Rwandan, Nsengimana on Sunday.
In the overall standings, the French cyclist, Romain Martial won the 2016 edition. It is vital to include in this report that the Moroccan, LAHSSANI MOUSHINE, won the 2015 edition.
