French Cameroun: Four civilians killed in Boko Haram attack
Boko Haram militants killed four civilians in a raid in Cameroon’s Far North region, the army said on Tuesday.
The Boko Haram militants stormed Talkoumri village in Kolofata subdivision Sunday night, looted foodstuffs, abducted and later killed four villagers, a military officer who preferred not to be named said.
On Tuesday, Cameroon’s Army Chief of Staff Rene Claude Meka began a work visit in the Far North which saw an increased number of Boko Haram attacks over the last month.
Boko Haram has killed about 2,000 people in Cameroon since 2014, according to local media quoting international NGOs.
