2 children have lost their lives in Douala and Ebolowa, after being beaten by their parents. The first child died in Ebolowa, the chief city in the South region of French Cameroun after a snake beating done by his father.

Local media reports say his father accused him of having used for other purposes money that was meant for his BEPC examination.

The second child who died in Douala was reportedly a form 3 three student accused by his parents to have huge appetite for alcohol and drugs. He was suspected of having stolen the of 1500 FCFA. Both dads will be presented to the State Counsel and maybe be charged for “manslaughter”.
