Diego Maradona’s house turned into a museum
The house of Argentina’s football legend Diego Maradona has been turned into a museum in the country’s capital Buenos Aires.
The former manager of a football team where Maradona had his first contract, restored the home where the footballer lived between the years of 1978 and 1980.
The organizer of the museum says when the team that Maradona played in, achieved a second place finish in Argentina, fans mobbed his home, forcing him to escape through a back door.
There are over two thousand intimate and personal objects of the former captain of and coach of Argentina’s national team, including his old football boots and several old photographs.
