It has been revealed that the current general manager of the Cameroon Radio and Television is under a criminal investigation and may end up in Kondengui like his two predecessors, Gervais Mendo Ze and Amadou Vamoulké. Charles Ndongo, our source hinted must convince his investigators from the Supreme State audit department that payments he received from the National Water Corporation of Cameroon, SNEC in 2013 and 2014 were genuine.
The affair involves the former provisional administrator of SNEC, Basile Atangana Kouna accused of ultra philharmonic expenses. State auditors have been ordered to establish the reasons behind some huge cash payments made by Mr. Basile Atangana. Examples of some of the crazy expenses incurred by SNEC at the time headed by the current Minister of Mines, Water and Energy include fees paid to consultants such as Charles Ndongo and Roger Tchoungui considered unjustified.
