CRTV: Former GM Vamoulke at the Special Criminal Court
Amadou Vamoulke journalist and former general manager of the Cameroon Radio and Television (Crtv) is expected this Tuesday at the Special Criminal Court in Yaoundé.
Appointed GM of CRTV in June 2016 and arrested by the Biya regime, Amadou Vamoulké is on trial for misappropriation of public funds. The case is at its fifteenth hearing and the former boss of Crtv has always claimed his innocence.
Reporters Without Borders (RSF) and the International Federation of Human Rights have called for his immediate release. Other national and sub-regional organizations like RHEDAC have also demanded his immediate release from detention.
