CPDM Mimboman 1 President in Kondengui for car theft
Emah Mindja, President of CPDM Mimboman I and his nephew are languishing in the Kodengui prison in Yaoundé. Emah Minja, elected as president some few months ago and his relative were charged for car theft in the nation’s capital, Yaoundé.
Emah Mindja, was arrested by two gendarme officers who accused him of aggravated theft. He and his nephew had actually stolen a car on the night of Wednesday, January 13th 2016. The stolen car belonged to his neighbor, Awana Theophilus.
Interestingly, the CPDM leader had addressed a memo to the national chairman President Biya in which he said his political opponents were tarnishing his hard earned reputation. He appealed to President Biya to take all necessary measures to prevent what he described as his political enemies from embarrassing and threatening his family.
However, a police investigation supported by lawyers from a human rights organization were able to establish that the CPDM boss and his family members were running a crime syndicate specialized on car theft in Yaoundé.
