Conflicting reports on FECAFOOT and the clandestine immigration of dozens of Cameroonians to France
The Secretary General of the Cameroon Football Federation, FECAFOOT has been suspended. The information was made public by the authoritative mboafootball.com According to the sister publication; the SG was accused of having endorsed the clandestine immigration of dozens of people to France as members of a FECAFOOT delegation following the friendly matches Cameroon played against France and Olympic of Marseille.
CIR gathered that the French Embassy in Yaoundé brought up the issue with the Cameroon Football Federation that fifty members of the two delegations that made the trip to France were reportedly missing. FECAFOOT reacted by indexing its Secretary General responsible for missions. After an in-house investigation, Blaise Moussa was suspended until further notice and no longer has the right to sign mission orders, even for a simple license player.
Many other senior FECAFOOT officials have been cited in the scandal including Faustin Blaise Mbida Mbida, Director of Cabinet of the FECAFOOT president, Tombi a Roko and Marlène Emvoutou who some reports have suggested has seek political asylum abroad. The Cameroon Football Federation has however denied the news by publishing a detail plan for the next Interpool competition duly signed by Blaise Moussa.
