Chief Inoni Ephraim says he is in regular communication with Jesus Christ
Former Prime Minister, His Royal Highness Chief Inoni Ephraim was at the Supreme Court on June 13, 2017 during a hearing of an appeal tabled by his legal team. At the request of the president of the court, Mekobe Sone, Chief Inoni Ephraim addressed the session in the presence of some members of his family.
The former Biya acolyte who was Prime Minister from 2004 to 2009 said, “Mr. President, a few hours before his death, Jesus Christ was aware of all that was to happen to him, but he decided to remain silent. When one is in regular communication with Jesus Christ, one does not speak much. I did not choose to be born in the South West or Yaoundé. Despite everything I am and I remain Cameroonian. I leave it to your conscience.”
Cameroon Intelligence Report sources revealed that the Inoni hearing was also attended by Jean-Marie Atangana Mebara former Secretary General at the presidency of the republic. After they were sentenced to 20 years’ imprisonment, both Inoni and Mebara filed an appeal to the Supreme Court. The case has now been referred to June 27, 2017.
As a reminder, on the 2nd of October 2013, the two senior officials of the administration were sentenced to 20 years’ imprisonment by a decision of the Special Criminal Court. They were prosecuted for alleged misappropriation of public funds estimated at 287 million and the second offense related to the diversion of CFAF 1.4 billion FCFA.
