Cameroon to deploy 206 fire fighters for the Women’s Africa Cup of Nations
Officials of the National Fire Fighting Brigade have announced the deployment of 206 Fire Fighters to the Yaoundé and Limbe stadia ahead of the 2016 women’s Africa Cup of Nations.
The information was made known during an evaluation meeting marking final preparations for the 2016 Women’s AFCON and the corps’ end of year activities organized on the 8th of November 2016 in Yaoundé.
The 206 Fire Fighters will attend to emergency cases and disaster victims in and around the two stadia expected to be hosting thousands of spectators.
The two day meeting which brought together senior officials of the corps from the ten Regions was chaired by Brigardier General Mahamat Ahmed at the National Fire Brigade Headquarters in Yaounde.
