Cameroon elite forces have killed two hostage-takers on Tuesday in Mbaia-Mboum locality in the North region of the country. Cameroon Intelligence Report gathered the operation was carried out by elements of the 31st Mechanized Infantry Battalion (BIM).

The two kidnappers were under Cameroon secret service surveillance following the kidnapping of a businessman in Mbai-Mboum area some 40 km from Touboro in the north.

At the time of filing this report, information filtered to our news desk that two Cameroonian businessmen  were kidnapped last night at Mbitom, less than 10 km from Touboro.
