Boko Haram strikes again in Mora and Kolofata
The Nigerian Islamic sect, Boko Haram has carried out a series of suicide bombings in the Far North region in the early hours of Saturday the 1st of July 2017.
The terrorist group that reportedly paid allegiance to the Organization of the Islamic State and is now call Islamic Province of West Africa, staged today’s attacks in the Mayo-Sava Division.
The first of the suicide attacks were in Mora, the chief town in the Mayo-Sava Division that killed 5 people. The Mora attacks were organized simultaneously with those of Ngalbi.
Two suicide bombers were shot dead in Kolofata by a detachment of the Rapid Intervention Battalion on the border with Nigeria and explosive devices were discovered on the bodies of the two teenagers.
Less than nine hours ago, three people, including two suicide bombers were killed in Kerawa, a locality in the Kolofata district of Mayo-Sava, where Cameroonians are learning to live with suicide bombings- the new Boko Haram modus operandi.
