CPDM summon its governors to Yaounde
René Emmanuel Sadi, the Minister of Territorial Administration and Decentralization has summoned the ten CPDM appointed governors to Yaoundé for the so-called first semester conference of the year 2017.
The Biya agents will begin meeting tomorrow Tuesday the 25th of July at the conference center of the Yaoundé City Council.
In a press release that was made public today via state radio and television, Emmanuel Sadi revealed that the governors’ forum that will end on the 27 July 2017, shall hold under the theme “Administrative authorities, preservation of social peace and protection of sovereignty”.
The Francophone dominated governors meeting is expected to examine inter alia the Southern Cameroons revolution that is threatening to bring down the Biya regime, the security situation at the border between Cameroon and the Central African Republic that was closed last week and the powerful return of the Nigerian Islamic sect, Boko haram. The regional governors will have plenty of work to do during their three-day stay in the nation’s capital.
