Biya’s Cameroon: 4 killed in abandoned gold holes in the East region
Four people have died in an abandoned local gold mine excavation area in Kambélé Boukarou, a town in the district of Batouri, department of Kadey, Eastern Region. The four included six months and 7 years old infants.
Cameroon Intelligence Report gathered from local authorities in the East region that the gold holes in that part of the country are several meters deep and always full with water particularly during the rainy season.
At the time of filing this report, information filtered that the town of Kambele Boukarou buried a teenager and his mum both of whom drowned in one of the gold holes today Monday the 27th 2016.
