Biya moves to a five star hotel in Swiss
A source close to the Presidency of the Republic has revealed that President Biya has left Rome to a private residence in another European country. Officially, President Paul Biya and his wife went to Italy for a state visit between Monday 20 and Wednesday 22 March 2017. But after the state visit, Paul Biya, his wife Chantal Biya and their children visited the Pope in the Vatican. In principle, the President of the Republic and his official sequel were to return to Yaoundé on Friday, March 24, 2017.
But according to our sources, only the members of the government who were in the official delegation have traveled home. President Biya has reportedly moved to another European country. A well-placed source hinted Cameroon Intelligence Report that the dictator is in Geneva in Switzerland. His last stay in Geneva was in October 2016 and was seriously disrupted by members of the Diaspora’s citizens’ organizations, opposed to Paul Biya’s thirty-year-old regime.
Renowned as a great traveler, the Cameroonian Head of State spent five months in his native country before resuming his journey abroad thanks to the invitation of his Italian counterpart Sergio Mattarella.
