President Biya has signed a decree from his hotel apartment in Swiss firing the Senior Divisional Officer of his home constituency, the Dja et Lobo. Abroad for nearly two weeks now, the Cameroonian dictator made public the presidential decree on Thursday, September 29, 2016, appointing a new prefect at the head of the Dja and Lobo in the South Region.

The decree that was read over state-owned radio and television appointed David Koulbout, who held the same position in Meme Division in the South West Region to replace Bernard Mane Mba.  D.O. Bernard Mane Mba was the head of the Dja et Lobo since 2012.  The reason behind the Biya action has not been revealed.
