Battle for Southern Cameroons: Baptist Comprehensive College Nkwen set ablaze
A group of unidentified men have set ablaze the entire campus of the Baptist Comprehensive College Nkwen in Mezam County following a decision by the school to begin enrollment of students for the new academic year. Cameroon Intelligence Report gathered by security sources that the entire administrative block was set on fire with important documents burnt to ashes.
Of the several Southern Cameroons militant groups established by the Southern Cameroons Governing Council with the support of the Cameroon Anglophone Civil Society Consortium to enforce Southern Cameroons laws, namely the Vipers, the Black Cats of Ambazonia, the Tigers, the Ambazzozzo Nationalists), none has claimed responsibility.
Information also filtered that the reopening of schools in the Roman Catholic Diocese of Kumbo that was scheduled to take off last week failed. There are conflicting reports as to which of the groups may have carried out the action.
A Southern Cameroons journalist who is very experience in intelligence reporting was quoted as saying that soldiers loyal to the Biya Francophone regime staged the action to justify the continues militarization of Southern Cameroons. The school infrastructure was reduced to dust.
Meanwhile, we have also been reliably informed that Francophone troops have been arresting dozens of Southern Cameroonians and transporting them to detention facilities in French Cameroun.
