Battle for Southern Cameroons: 2 French Cameroun soldiers killed in Bamenda
Two French Cameroun soldiers have been killed in Bamenda, the chief city in the Northern Zone of the Federal Republic of Ambazonia by Southern Cameroons Restoration Forces.
The soldiers were killed around Alachu in Mankon on Wednesday May 15 by Ambazonian Self-Defense Forces protecting the Mezam County.
Francophone soldiers deployed to the area responded by killing dozens of innocent Southern Cameroons civilians in Bamenda. Several houses were torched forcing residents to flee their homes for safety.
The French Cameroun Minister Delegate at the Ministry of Defence, Joseph Beti Assomo in a communiqué on Thursday said investigations have been opened to shed light on the incident.
The Biya acolyte has been quoted as saying that any soldier found guilty of destroying property in Bamenda will face the law.
