Battle For Lebialem: Huge explosion rocks Lewoh near a Catholic School
A large explosion has rocked the Lebialem town of Lewoh, Cameroon Intelligence Report has learned. The incident occurred on the hill leading down to the Lewoh Catholic School sending a truck load of French Cameroun soldiers down the steep slope followed by a gunshot that killed a soldier. The explosion was heard across Lewoh, jolting residents awake, the head of the primary school said. The dawn explosion has also been reported by other Southern Cameroons activists’ networks but the casualties were unclear.
Our informant in the Lebialem County said the explosion near the Lewoh Catholic School was followed by flames rising above the area. This is less than 24 hours after an explosion shattered a military truck on Thursday night within the same stretch of road going up to Alou.
There are reports that the Red Dragons of Lebialem that recently reaffirmed strong ties with the Interim Government of the Federal Republic of Ambazonia has banished the Fon of Bamubuh from the village. The Southern Cameroons freedom fighters say the Fon will only be allowed back if he relinquishes his senatorial seat and denounce the ruling CPDM crime syndicate.
