Bamenda: French Cameroun regime claims second bomb explosion at Hospital Roundabout
French Cameroun security agents operating in the Bamenda County in Southern Cameroons have reported that a homemade bomb exploded on Saturday night at the crossroads of the regional hospital. Cameroon Intelligence Report gathered it was the second explosion on the same site.
The Francophone dominated police force in Bamenda confirmed the news late on Sunday and added that there were two explosive charges deposited near the hospital round about but only one was triggered. “The second was neutralised by the forces of law and order,” said a police officer.
On Monday the 11th of September, the people of Bamenda were awakened by a massive explosion of an artisanal bomb. The explosion occurred at a site called Hospital Round About near an electric pole. At a press briefing lately, the so-called government spokesman Issa Tchiroma Bakari announced that in early August explosives had been seized in Mbengwi County and four individuals who were preparing attacks had been arrested.
