Arson attack on Mezam 1 CPDM Section President
A car belonging to Cletus Matoya, the president of the Mezam I section of the ruling CPDM crime syndicate was set on fire on Tuesday the 6th 2017 in Bamenda. Security services have so far not been able to make any arrest. Cameroon Intelligence Report sources in Bamenda revealed that unidentified individuals penetrated the Matoya residence in Mile 7 Mankon around 2 am, served poisoned fish to his watchdog, entered his home and set fire on his Prado.
The gang also left a message in which they threatened the daughter of Cletus Matoya. They say they will kidnap the girl if Cletus Matoya continues to defy the Cameroon Anglophone Civil Society Consortium. Cletus Matoya’s political problems are hydra-headed. He came to the lime light with the support of disgraced former general manager Fonjindam Zaccheus.
With the arrest of Fonjindam, Minister Atanga Nji compelled him to join forces with him. To be sure, Paul Atanga Nji actually called him from Geneva during a visit to Europe with the 84 year old dictator, Paul Biya and ordered him to move away from the FREE FONJINDAM Campaign. From loyalty to switching, he is now Minister Atanga Nji’s operations manager in Bamenda.
Our senior political commentator noted that Matoya seems to be paying the price for his pro Atanga Nji stance and he is reportedly losing his credibility among his people.
