Another African dictator wins CAF President Issa Hayatou Peace Prize
The announcement was made on Monday the 10th of October 2016 by Issa Hayatou, president of the African Football Confederation (CAF) and president of the foundation that bears his name. The Cameroonian dictator Paul Biya, 83 and in power for 34 years was named winner of the 2016 Issa Hayatou Peace Prize.
Cameroon Intelligence Report understands the trophy was awarded by the foundation to President Biya on his dedicated efforts for peace in Cameroon. We also learned that the committee was satisfied with the stability and development in Cameroon.
After the butcher of Lome, Faure Gnassingbe who won the 2014 edition and the Equatorial Guinea thug, Obiang Nguema in 2015, another human rights violator in the person of Paul Biya is the winner of the 3rd edition.
