Manyu CPDM elites humiliated as population refuses to sing La Republique’s national anthem
It has been revealed that things are falling apart for the CPDM elites of the Manyu constituency. Reports say some drama occurred in the former Cross River State of Southern Cameroons over the weekend. Cameroon Intelligence Report was reliably informed that it all started when highly placed Manyu CPDM barons blatantly refused to release the sum of 53 million francs that was allocated to sponsor the December 2016 Manyu Cultural Festival, FESTAC
The political elites observed that the Manyu population was not cooperating with the Biya regime in its efforts at countering calls for federalism. Events took a dramatic u turn when the Divisional Officer accompanied by the mayor stormed the ceremonial ground and ordered the population to sing the national anthem. The Biya appointees were told that Southern Cameroonians will no longer sing the anthem of a foreign nation.
The DO and his entourage boycotted the event which went successfully under the guidance of the President of FESTAC, Besong Michael. We gathered that His Royal Highness Senator Tabetando from the Mamfe Central sub constituency pushed through to Tinto town, Upper Bayang Sub-division to organize a CPDM rally which failed woefully. Cat calls greeted the Chief of Bachuo-Ntai from the scantily attended forum with some militants reportedly telling Tabetando to go and concentrate in his Mamfe Central Sub Division. The humiliation accorded the CPDM leaders was complete and total.
The situation in Akwaya Sub Division was no different as Senator ANJA Simon was informed that he can no longer speak for the disgruntled Akwaya population. Senator Anja was reminded that if he were not a son of the soil, his remains would have been dumped in the river Manyu. He was ordered to return to wherever he came from or faced severe consequences.
