Ambazonia militants Killed 2 gendarmes in Bamenda
The socio-politico-security crisis that has lasted for more than a year in Southern Cameroons seems to be taken a dramatic u turn as Ambazonia militants shot and killed two gendarmes officers today Wednesday the 8th of November, 2017 in Bamenda. French Cameroun officials have deployed special forces to hunt for the alleged killers.
Cameroon military sources revealed that the two men in uniform killed, named René Hinma and David Sallé, were surprised by armed and hooded individuals. We gathered that Constable René Hinma was shot dead at a checkpoint at the south entrance to the city of Bamenda and the life of the second gendarme came to an end shortly after he took guard at a school in the Bayele district.
French Cameroun intelligence sources say the alleged killers of the two gendarmes are on the run. The young killers suspected of being radical activists of the Anglophone crisis, exchanged shots with the defense and security forces. In the hope of getting their hands on the perpetrators of the crime and restore calm in the Bamenda county, the Francophone authorities ordered the sending of reinforcements.
