Biya goes missing again!!
President Paul Biya who left Cameroon on March 18, 2017 for a state visit to Italy that held from the 20th to the 22nd of the same month has not returned to Yaoundé. Biya’s destination is still not known to the Cameroonian people. “Things get pretty weird when your president goes missing” noted our Yaounde city reporter.
Cameroonians were expecting to see the 84 year old leader coming down from the plane with his gold medal discerned by the so-called Rectors of Italian Universities in Rome after the visit. However, it was rather a plane carrying the other members of the Rome delegation that landed in Yaoundé.
On board were ministers Lejeune Mbella Mbella of External Relations, Louis Paul Motaze of Economy, Planning and Regional Development, Emmanuel Nganou Djoumessi of Public Works and the loud sounding nothing Jacques Fame Ndongo of Higher Education.
The aircraft also carried other personalities, including advisers, ministers of mission and the deputy director of the Civil Cabinet of the Presidency. But the main occupant who chartered the aircraft from Yaoundé was nowhere to be found. Confidential sources have entrusted that the presidential couple are in Geneva.
