Fru Ndi in court as Agbor Balla-Fontem Neba terrorism trial reopens and adjourns quickly
Senior opposition figures in Cameroon were present today at the trial of the detained leaders of the Cameroon Anglophone Civil Society Consortium. Ni John Fru Ndi including SDF members of parliament and Senators were joined by Prof. Maurice Kamto of the MRC and Edith Kah Walla of the CPP during the court session at the Yaoundé Military Tribunal.
The Consortium leaders, Barrister Agbor Felix Nkongho, Dr. Fontem and the radio broadcaster Mancho Bibixy incarcerated in the nation’s capital for over three months now were taken from the Kondengui High Security prison to the court premises today March 23, 2017 by troops loyal to the Biya Francophone regime.
Ni Jonh Fru Ndi, the Chairman of the Social Democratic Front who has never hidden his support for those arrested in connection with the Anglophone crisis, arrived at the Military Court shortly after 1 pm, accompanied by the Secretary General of the SDF and some SDF MPs and Senators.
Tension reportedly mounted inside the court room and prompted the sitting judge to adjourn the terrorism trial of Barrister Agbor Balla, Dr Fontem Neba and Mancho to April the 27th 2017. CIR gathered that none of the government witnesses turned up in court. Notwithstanding the mass arrest of the leaders and activists of the Anglophone cause, activities in Southern Cameroons have remained paralyzed for almost five months now.

paul biya’s has created a banana republic,the regime has always been scared of people from the Southern Cameroon because they have vision the way the country should be moving and growing, unfortunately biya and his rotten men and women in bad politics have drag the country backward, the country is divided, it is in a very poor state of development, he has spent over 34 years of concentrating on marginalisation not development and unity, it was only going to be a matter of time before generations rise up, for many years, many greedy, selfish, weak,bribe taking an corrupt anglophones have sidelining with this dark, evil regime of LRC, for personal financial gains and higher positions within the government, now they have a bitter pill to swallow,the regime continue to use those illiterate police and army brutality on civilians, this is not the first uprising and oppression from a coward, terrorist dictator.
