The last time I checked, SDF was a national party. While it might take a stance on Federation, it also has to cater for its francophone members. The SDF, is different from the SCNC. Wirba’s constituency is Kumbo, Fru Ndi’s is Cameroon! For Fru Ndi to focus solely on Anglophone issues, he either has to step down as chairman or make the SDF an Anglophone party. This allegation of bribe taking is unfortunate journalism. I thought we wanted Anglo-saxon culture?

I was just a Primary school kid when Ni John Fru Ndi toured round Cameroon and also came to Tombel. He was the first Cameroonian Politician to stand for Federation and Autonomous regions. Let’s not forget that. SDF is not a Southern Cameroon part But Its for the whole nation. Can anyone give me one good reason why he should step down? Has any of you ever heard that a family head has stepped down or been relieved of his duties? I don’t see anything bad in his decision. If we all stand for Federation, federation does not mean separation. Can we leave Fru Ndi alone, please? Lets stop being sentimental in our thinking.

Southern Cameroon is fighting for it full restoration, and any body from Southern Cameroon must join the fight. You should not be one leg on both sides. It’s either you are inn or out. It’s not sentimental but a choice to make. If you look carefully at Ni John Fru Ndi, he is just like that sculpture at the entrance of Bamoun (two headed sneak). I’m not condemning him but described what I have observed in him for the past 27years as a chair man of SDF. During the 90’s he was fully with the people but now he is one leg on both sides. It’s time for each and every one of us to be watchful
