The CPDM regime has deployed a predominant Francophone force from Douala and Bafoussam to Bamenda, Cameroon Intelligence Report has learned. The soldiers arrived Bamenda late in the night and have occupied the streets of the North West regional capital. Our intelligence officers stationed all over the city have confirmed that the trade unions have held a meeting at the governor’s office with the Roman Catholic Bishop and the Moderator of the PCC in attendance.

The trade unions had earlier resolved that negotiations will be held in Bamenda between the Biya Francophone Beti-Ewondo regime and the veritable teachers trade unions in the presence of these men of God. The trade unions also noted that the Biya acolyte, Minister Fame Ndongo will not chair the session. The British Southern Cameroons trade unions are now expecting the Biya regime to come for the Bamenda talks when it deems it necessary. The Unions say, the strike action will continue unabated even when the said negotiations are on-going until definitive solutions are proclaimed or decreed.

In a statement issued to the media by the leadership of the trade unions, the government was reminded that threats from CPDM officials are rife and if any teacher’s salary is suspended or any teacher is victimized, the strike will be intensified in an alarming proportion until the teacher is redeemed. For the first time in the history of the teachers trade unions, traitor principals  have been seriously warned and the unions have hinted that they are keeping track of them.
