Cameroon makes public a 58 page document on timber exploitation in the country
A document which will serve as a working tool for forests exploiters has been presented in Yaounde. The 58 page document makes public the prerequisites for forest exploitation throughout the national territory. According to the document every tree will be localised, identified and given a code before it is felled.
The presentation ceremony was presided over by the Secretary of State in the Ministry of Forestry and Wildlife, Koulsoumi Ahadji Boukar, who made a clarion call to every stakeholder to study the document to avoid illegal logging Cameroon timber.
