Louis Paul Motaze, Cameroon’s Minister of Economy, Planning and Regional Development will sign this afternoon in Yaounde two cumulative loan protocol agreements with the Deutsche Bank of Spain. Cameroon Intelligence Report has learned that Deutsche Bank will make available the sum of 21 billion CFA francs for the first phase of the Yaounde Lake development project.

The project aims to develop ecotourism and to clean up the lake that has been polluting the residence of the Prime Minister and Head of Government. The lake has become a genuine threat to the environment and it’s often used by barons of the CPDM regime to disposed bodies of innocent Cameroonians killed for political rituals.

It is expected that after its renovation, the lake will host a five star hotel. The construction of facilities for water sports and attractive spaces for the entertainment of the Yaounde population has also been included in the project.
