President Biya has offered 312 digital tablets to Lycée General Leclerc in Yaounde. The devices were delivered on Monday the 5^th of September by the Minister of Secondary Education (MINESEC) during a ceremony to mark the first day of the new academic year.

Jean Ernest Ngalle Bibehe, one of Mr Biya’s numerous cabinet ministers revealed that the tablets were part of a CPDM program to modernize the teaching of science and technology initiated in 2001 with the creation of the Multimedia Resource Centres.
