Press men and women in Cameroon have been reminded of the need to get accreditation ahead of the Female Africa Cup of Nations in November (2016 AFCON).

In a press release made public by the Minister of Communication, Issa Tchiroma Bakary, journalists were cautioned that only those with a press card issued by the competent authorities and holders of an accreditation by the Confederation of African Football (CAF) will be allowed to cover the event.

The Minister implored those who wish to cover the event to contact the competent services for further information. The Minister’s call is timely as media organs are already drawing up coverage plans and mobilising equipment and funds ahead of the competition.
