Cameroon:Former Delegate General for National Security, Pierre Minlo’o Medjo passed away at 86
The former Delegate General for National Security, Pierre Minlo’o Medjo has passed away at the age of 86 years. Pierre Minlo’o Medjo died today Tuesday, August 16, 2016 at the National Social Insurance Hospital in Yaoundé.
Prior to his appointment as boss of the Cameroon police force from 2000 to 2004, the late Divisional Commissioner Pierre Minlo’o Medjo was the head of the Directorate of the Presidential Security. He was also the provincial chief of police in many of the regions.
He cheated death in April 2003 returning from an installation ceremony of the new provincial delegate of police in the East, when the helicopter carrying him crashed in the town of Nkoabang, not far from the capital Yaoundé.
